The North Thames Anaesthetic Meeting

Over 20 years of educating and updating anaesthetists from across the world

We’d like to tell you more about the best kept secret in international Anaesthesia conferences

NTAM is an international meeting with a uniquely welcoming atmosphere that takes place annually in the beautiful French alpine resort of Tignes. Along with the spectacular setting, it is a unique opportunity to learn from and network with experts in the field of anaesthesia and intensive care medicine. Whether you are a consultant, SAS anaesthetist or in training, you will find the knowledge and connections made at the conference invaluable.

Meet the Team

NTAM has been running since 1999 and is run by committee... in a good way! Our long-standing academic committee advise the organisers to deliver a highly educational and insightful meeting each year. We strive to run a programme covering not only the current controversies and debates in the field, but also provide updates on perennial themes that are useful to our delegates.

Choosing your Talk

There's no need to present at NTAM but we always welcome talks from delegates. One of the strengths of NTAM is that we get cutting-edge talks from world experts as well as solutions to use in our day-to-day work by 'jobbing' anaesthetists.

Advice to Presenters

There's nothing worse than struggling with a computer in front of an expectant audience. Our handy guide will make sure that our delegates get the best from your talk. We hope that you find our guide useful for this as well as any other meetings you may present at in the future.

Small Airport

Delegates congregate at NTAM from all over the world. Follow the link for advice on travel to the conference.

The Eurostar from St Pancras to Bourg-Saint-Maurice is very popular and so there is a transfer bus from Bourg-Saint Maurice on the evening before the conference starts.
